Privacy Policy
Effective October 25, 2026 · Awesome Sports & Entertainment LLC
We use information to operate PitchTactix, track development, and support the people using it. We do not sell personal information or use athlete performance data for third-party behavioral advertising.
1. Who we are and what this covers
Awesome Sports & Entertainment LLC (“PitchTactix,” “we,” “us”) operates PitchTactix.app and the PitchTactix software. This policy covers our website, waitlist, previews, app features, and related support. Contact us at customersupport@pitchtactix.app.
PitchTactix is in prelaunch. The website currently provides product information and email signup. Preview, cloud-account, coaching, and purchase features can differ by version and availability. The descriptions below apply when you use the corresponding feature; they do not mean every feature is currently available.
2. Information we collect and how
- Signup and contact details: your name and email address when you join the waitlist, plus messages and attachments you choose to send to support. Our signup form uses Kit to manage subscriptions and email delivery.
- Account information: account identifiers, name, email address, account role, and authentication information when you create or use an account. If you choose a supported third-party sign-in, we receive the information that provider makes available under your permissions, which may include an email relay address.
- Athlete profiles and relationships: names or profile labels, development level, pitch selections, goals, and information supplied by a player, parent, guardian, or authorized coach, including linked roster relationships.
- Training and performance records: pitches, called and actual locations, results, bullpen sessions, virtual games, workouts, coaching notes, reports, and progress. We receive these from your entries and authorized coaching activity and derive metrics and insights from them.
- Technical information: our website, hosting services, and enabled app services process information such as IP address, browser or device type, requested pages, timestamps, settings, error reports, and usage events for delivery, security, troubleshooting, and service improvement.
- Subscription information: when purchases are available, product, transaction, entitlement, and renewal status used to verify access. Apple handles payment-card information for App Store purchases; we do not receive your full card number from Apple.
- Shared content: reports, workouts, comments, or other material you choose to submit through an available sharing or community feature, together with the information needed to attribute and deliver that content.
Only provide information needed for the feature. Do not put passwords, payment-card numbers, sensitive medical records, or unnecessary details about another person into coaching notes, messages, or uploads.
3. How we use information
- Provide the website, accounts, training tools, saved history, and authorized synchronization.
- Calculate performance measures and produce reports, training suggestions, and Lexi coaching insights.
- Connect authorized players, parents, and coaches and deliver content you choose to share.
- Verify subscription access, respond to support and privacy requests, and maintain reliable services.
- Send launch and product emails when you subscribe, with an unsubscribe option.
- Detect misuse, protect accounts, maintain necessary records, and meet applicable legal obligations.
Lexi: software-generated insights use the training information and context supplied to the feature. They can be incomplete or inaccurate and support, rather than replace, human coaching judgment. If a feature sends personal information to a third-party AI service, that feature must identify the sharing and obtain any required permission before the transfer. This policy is not blanket consent to undisclosed AI sharing.
5. Cookies, local storage, and external services
WordPress and service providers use cookies or similar technologies to support sign-in, security, preferences, and embedded signup forms. Email services may process delivery, open, and link-interaction information to help manage communications. You can control browser cookies and unsubscribe from marketing emails; blocking storage may affect features.
Web previews can store profiles, sessions, workouts, alerts, preferences, and usage events locally in your browser. Clearing that browser’s PitchTactix data removes local records, but does not by itself delete a cloud account, information held by support, or a newsletter subscription. We obtain consent for nonessential tracking where required. Links to third-party websites are governed by those services’ own policies.
6. Youth athletes and parental involvement
Children under 13 should not independently create accounts, join the marketing list, or submit personal information. Athlete profiles for younger players are intended to be managed by a parent, legal guardian, or appropriately authorized adult. A coach’s access does not replace parental consent where the law requires it.
We require applicable parental authorization and any legally required verifiable parental consent before collecting covered children’s information. A parent or guardian may contact us to review, correct, or request deletion of a child’s information or withdraw permission for further collection. If you believe a child provided information without the required authorization, contact us so we can investigate and remove it as required. Please avoid including a child’s full personal details in an initial email.
7. Retention and security
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected. Account and training records support the active service; newsletter details support your subscription; support records help resolve requests. Limited records may remain where necessary for legal obligations, transaction accounting, security, or disputes. We do not keep children’s information longer than reasonably necessary for the specific purpose.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove its identifying elements. Backup copies may remain until normal replacement or deletion cycles complete and are not used for ordinary service activity. If a legal exception prevents full deletion, we explain the applicable reason. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no online service or device can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices, access, and deletion
- Marketing: use the unsubscribe link in an email or contact support. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary service messages.
- Access and correction: request a copy, correction, or export of information associated with you or an athlete you are authorized to represent.
- Consent and permissions: withdraw optional consent by contacting us or changing the relevant device or service setting. Withdrawal does not undo processing already performed lawfully.
- Account or data deletion: contact support from the account email with the subject “Privacy or account deletion request.” State whether the request concerns your newsletter subscription, app account, or an athlete profile. We may verify your identity and authority before acting. Never send your password.
We handle verified requests within the time required by applicable law and explain any lawful limits or necessary extension. Deletion covers the account and associated personal data we control, subject to limited lawful retention. Simply uninstalling the app or archiving a pitcher does not delete cloud records. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Manage subscriptions separately in your Apple Account settings.
You can also use this support route if you cannot access your account or need help with a privacy request.
9. Location-specific rights and processing
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive portable data, appeal a privacy decision, or complain to a privacy regulator. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Contact support to make a request or appeal.
Our company is based in the United States. Service providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our service agreement, consent for optional activities, legitimate interests in secure service operation, or legal obligations, as appropriate.
10. Policy changes and contact
We update this policy when the service or its data practices change and revise the effective date. Material changes receive additional notice or consent where required. New uses of information remain subject to applicable law.
